01. NON ABRASION

Minimal wear due to superior construction

The unique freewheel mechanism of our NONPLUS hub has 400% more contact area than conventional systems, enabling maximum power transmission with minimal wear. Special, highly complex, and patent-pending tooth backs significantly reduce abrasion. In conventionally manufactured toothed discs, point contact occurs on the tooth back. The NONPLUS “NON ABRASION” tooth back has line contact, resulting in almost no abrasion. This is a significant advantage over conventional ratchet systems, where the contact surface slides pointwise instead of flat over the tooth backs, causing wear. Abrasion in conventional toothed discs impairs function and can lead to failure. Our low-wear tooth back and large contact area make the use of aluminum possible even in the toughest conditions. Additionally, hard anodizing ensures long durability.

02. NON STOP

Direct power transmission without detours

Our “NON STOP” construction ensures direct power transmission. This includes the transmission of power from the freewheel to the toothed disc and then from the toothed disc to the hub body. The power transmission of the 45 teeth of the bevel gear goes 1:1 into the 45 teeth of the external gearing. This tooth-to-tooth gearing enables direct 1:1 power transmission.
Our “NON STOP” brake disc mount, which is directly connected to the spoke flange, ensures optimal transmission of braking forces.

03. NON VACUUM

Sophisticated ventilation system for longer life

Our sophisticated ventilation system prevents the creation of a vacuum due to temperature fluctuations in the three hub chambers (hub body, freewheel body, gearing area). Example: You clean your sun-heated hub with cold water. The warm air in the hub body contracts through the cold water, creating a vacuum. In conventional hubs without a ventilation system, water is sucked through the ball bearings, damaging or destroying them.
The NON+ NON VACUUM system prevents this vacuum, ensuring significantly longer lifespan and noticeably smooth running of the bearings.

04. NON GAP

Micro-gap end caps for better sealing

Another plus for the durability of the ball bearings is provided by the precisely manufactured “NON GAP” micro-gap end caps. These improve the sealing of the ball bearings through a gap only a few hundredths of a millimeter wide, keeping out dirt and water.

05. NON PLAY

Self-adjusting bearing play for longer lifespan

Our hubs feature a novel self-adjusting play setting that is legally protected. This ensures you always have a perfectly adjusted hub with a smoothly light run. The O-rings in the end caps can be compressed, compensating for the different levels of compression of the hub axle when tightening the thru-axle. Depending on how tightly an operator tightens the thru-axle, the axle compresses more or less.
Our new “NON PLAY” micro-gap end caps compensate for this difference and ensure that the axle does not slide freely on the axle. Additionally, the system prevents bearing tension, guaranteeing smooth running and longer bearing life. Furthermore, shifting errors, brake disc rubbing due to axle play, and vibrations are minimized.
Our NON PLAY end caps combine the advantages of a shoulder axle and an adjustable play axle without the disadvantages of the two different systems.
